The
Sands Centre's main hall measures 25 metres wide
by 36 metres
long. It can accommodate up to 1750 people standing or up to
1450
people seated.
Seating is Sandler type and many different seating
possibilities can be configured around a 650 seat main rake.
Modular
staging is provided by Merrick Sico and stages up to 9.7m x 21.94m
can be constructed. The centre also has its own sound and
lighting
capability for all levels of use.
The Secondary Hall measures 17 metres long by 13 metres wide
and
is available as an ancillary hall for conference and exhibitions
and also for smaller meeting and seminars.
