The Sands Centre produces a widely varied year round programme
of arts and entertainment events including a Classical Concert
Series featuring top international orchestras, conductors and
soloists and a season by the regions most successful contemporary
chamber orchestra Northern Sinfonia, a programme of Rock and
Pop concerts, stars from the world of light entertainment and
comedy, a hugely successful Pantomime and Ballet, Opera productions.
