The Sheepmount Stadium features a six lane synthetic track and field event facilities and a 300-seater grandstand on the Home straight. The Stadium is Home to the Border Harriers and Athletic Club and the Carlisle & Aspatria Club. Ancillary facilities include a large changing facility and an on site gym.

The site is also Home to Carlisle's Municipal pitches and no less than 8 soccer pitches, 2 cricket pitches and a 330-metre grass cycle track. The Homes of Carlisle City FC and the Cumberland News Rifle Club also occupy the site.
